What does the JEE Main scorecard show?
Your JEE Main scorecard shows: Subject-wise marks (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), Total raw marks out of 300, NTA Score (percentile) for each subject and overall, Total NTA Score (this is your overall percentile), and your All India Rank (CRL). The NTA Score is normalized across all shifts — it's not a raw percentage.
What is the difference between NTA Score and percentile in JEE Main?
NTA Score IS your percentile — they are the same thing. An NTA Score of 95.00 means you scored better than 95% of all candidates. It is NOT a marks percentage. The NTA Score accounts for shift normalization, so two students scoring 160 marks in different shifts can get different NTA Scores depending on relative difficulty.
What happened after JEE Main 2026 result?
After the JEE Main 2026 result: candidates with AIR ≤ 2,50,000 registered for JEE Advanced 2026 (Apr 23–May 2), which was held May 17 with results on June 1 (AIR 1: Shubham Kumar, 330/360). All qualified candidates then went through JoSAA 2026 counselling (June–July) for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The 2026 cycle is now complete — JEE Main 2027 notification is expected around October 2026.
When is JEE Main 2027?
NTA is expected to release the JEE Main 2027 notification in October 2026, following the pattern of previous cycles.
