Must be in top 2,50,000 qualifiers from JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 (B.Tech), as per category allocation

Age Limit
Born on or after October 1, 2001 (General/OBC/EWS). SC/ST/PwD: on or after October 1, 1996

Class 12 Marks
Minimum 75% aggregate in Class 12 (65% for SC/ST/PwD), OR in the top 20 percentile of your board exam

Number of Attempts
Maximum 2 attempts in consecutive years. First-time JEE Advanced candidates and 2025 repeaters are both eligible
5
No Prior IIT Admission
Must not have been admitted to any IIT through JoSAA/CSAB earlier. Appearing in IIT but not accepting seat is OK
6
Class 12 Year
Must have appeared in Class 12 for the first time in 2025 or 2026. Candidates who passed in 2024 or earlier are not eligible
